SHIPPING & WARRANTY
We only ship to 48 continental states of USA (Alaska and Hawaii customers may contact us for a price quote) .We ship futon frames and other items that are in stock within 2-7 days. Items that are not in stock take 2 weeks for us to order. Storage beds and captain beds are made to order within 1-2 weeks. Shipping is FREE within Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island and includes only a curbside delivery. Installation is available! For an installation quote, please call 1(646) 255-2242. The installation quote will vary depending on what items you are interested in purchasing and must only be paid upon delivery. Please inspect all merchandise upon delivery before signing for it. We are not responsible for any damages made after it is signed for.
Warranty covers defects or malfunctions due to manufacturing only. We do not cover wear and or physical damage to the item by the end user. Warranties and exchanges do not include packaging cost shipping or delivery costs.
The original Receipt and Invoice the product are necessary for the fulfillment of the warranty.
RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
If you are not 100% satisfied with your item, you have 7 days to return the item to Futons R Us NY, inc., in new condition and original packaging. You, the customer, are responsible for return shipping. Once the merchandise is received at our warehouse and inspected, we will refund the purchase price (not including shipping) minus a 15%(minimum) re-stocking fee. Your credit will be processed within 1 week.
It is important that you inspect the furniture for damages upon delivery, if an item is found defective, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you, If the damage is found after the delivery service leaves, we can still repair or replace that item but we will charge you for the delivery service. In case the item is shipped to you by UPS, FedEx or other shipping companies and there’s no chance our company’s expert’s can examine the damage, you will be asked to e-mail us some pictures of the damage so our experts do examine it.
All Storage beds, Captains beds, Chest’s, Dressers, Wardrobes, Closets and other special orders are not returnable because these items are custom made.
Mattresses are not returnable once removed from plastic bag. Mattresses that have never been removed from original bag can be returned up to 7 days after date of delivery. There is a 15% (minimum)restocking fee that will apply for any new returned mattress.
If due to arrangements of your home it is difficult to maneuver a piece of furniture in narrow halls, doorways, stairwells, etc…we cannot be responsible for damage to the furniture, floors, or walls. We cannot be held responsible if your order does not fit into your home. You cannot refuse or return your order for this reason. If you have purchased from us a special assembly package, all the furniture must be inspected immediately upon assembly completion for damage. Only at this time can a damage claim be filed.
Every piece of a package, once purchased, is customer’s property therefore it is customer’s responsibility to take care of trash such as carton boxes and plastic bags. Delivery people are not to be held responsible for trash disposal.
It is solely the responsibility of the customer to transport returned merchandise to the store. We can arrange a delivery service to pickup merchandise that needs to be returned or exchanged for an additional fee which is paid directly to the delivery service. By choosing our expert delivery and assembly service you receive a 1 year factory warranty on furniture products. (physical damage is not included)
SHIPPING - TRUCK FREIGHT
These products are too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via truck freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it\'s going).
