Its chrome plated upper structure rests on a black iron base.
The broken line of the lounging top is elegantly contrasted with the amply curved support.
Le Corbusier’s inspiration for this chaise lounger was the Kangaroo sofa that possessed unconventional curves to conform to a person at rest.
The Kangaroo day bed was designed in 1830 here in the United States in the state of Virginia.
